Looking for...

Reactivated my Friendster account one or two days back (Aiyo… don’t ask me when lah… bad at remembering things these days…probably onset of Alzheimer’s) *chuckles*

Anyway, I believe most of you who have signed up/ perused friends-making/ dating sites which asked for:

“What do you look for in your partner” (May differs from site to site, but heck, they all ask for the same thing right?)

Guys would probably rattle off their usual list of ‘wants’ and some in a more subtle way (big boobs, a body to die for and great in bed, most important, if she’s not a high-expense and probably rich gal…erm., the last one if true = bonus)

-- Guys, I don’t take sides here. Are these the heart-felt words??

And likewise for gals, they would like to have tall, hunky, gentleman, faithful (if possible) all rolled into one. The list goes on.

-- Gals… there are some who gave very ridiculous lists before… I have seen with my eyes!

It is deplorable to see what guys can list. Frankly speaking, do you think they REALLY look for all these? Yes 150% cynic I am, Mean and nasty too. Those who do know me well, hardly see me in such conditions. The mentioned conditions are reserved for those really need ticking off. Believe me, sometimes I have to re-edit my messages at times. Mai black-heart… I also know where to draw the line too.

Okay, till the point of writing, I admit I have put up some probably near-impossible standards on who I want to meet. Someone who is lanky with long tresses; I do not need a Elizabeth Hurley, someone who is not too skinny; not too over-you-know and of course and that someone who must understands.

NOW at this point of time, I realised something. Who am I bluffing? I did not go through five relationships over the past nine years for nothing. Since when did I specifically apply such standards on my previous ex. before I started courting them? Funny… I did not do so. More often than not, it was that ‘click’ and off we went.

Now if you ask me the same question again, my answer? I would probably give you one of my best smiles and walk away. *chuckles*
