Uncle jiang gu - An uncle speaks

Readers of my blog might find it strange to see pictures and more pictures of my nephew and nieces, more especially when I am still very SINGLE *erm… am I making it too obvious here? (Usual innocent look mode - switched on)

Hmm… I think when my own kids come along I could probably outdo my sec school classmate’s blog dedicated to her child. I would not be surprised… she have already lodged an official ‘complaint’ that I am more “lor soh” than her. *chuckles*

For once, I must agree with ah gong that money cannot really buy the unconditional love of children. For those unaware, I do love children, okay? An old friend chided me, ‘go get married and get your own children to play with’ *Yea, rite*

Looking at them, time has passed by fast enough. The set of PiYo-PiYo accessories has been passed down from Oliver to Hazel to Laurel. Talk about recycling…

Hmm… perhaps Kor is still keeping them? *ponders… if he is REALLY keeping them for me*

Children… they really grow fast. In the blink of an eye, even the youngest one Laurel is already up and about running loose, destroying the phone as usual, like her siblings before. *rolls eyeballs up*

The number of toys has not increased (stored in my bedroom) these days *thankfully* and the number of fights has decreased significantly. But the usual fights for the bicycle; push cart and what-nots still happens every weekly. And powder consumption goes UP proportionally with their weekly visits.

No matter what, they are always that adorable... Laurel takes tissue to dry Hazel’s tears and Hazel does likewise when Laurel burst into tears. *sweet right?*

Time and tide waits for no man, with each trip I return to see that they have grown so much in such a short span. In no time, they will be all grown up, leaving these memories, these pictures behind. And in time to come, they will have their own stories to tell. Who knows, they might take a leaf out of my page. *smiles*
